Refunds / Returns / Exchanges

Thank you for purchasing from Chasing Whimsies.

While we hope you love every purchase, we understand that sometimes things aren't quite right. As our products are entirely hand-crafted, there will be minor variations between batches and each individual item.

To ensure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase we happily offer a 14 day return period from the date of delivery. This policy enables you to change your mind for any reason within 14 days and request a refund. This is provided the item is in its original condition – unused and with the packaging intact for resale. Please email info@chasingwhimsies.co.nz within 14 days of receiving your product to begin the process.

For returns that are due to a change of mind, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return the item to us. Shipping costs from the original purchase are also non-refundable.

Once we have received your item, we will inspect it and process your refund. If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 14 days have passed, you will not be eligible for a full refund. If these conditions are not met, as determined by us, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund.

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, we’re happy to refund the item or offer an exchange for a new one. Please email info@chasingwhimsies.co.nz within 14 days of receiving your product to begin the process.

Damages and issues

Upon receiving your order, please inspect and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
